Guest guest
Hi, I see that Apple Cider is legal but not Apple Juice. Living in South Africa, I can't buy the recommended legal products, so I have to find my own. I have come across an Apple Juice that is: 100% Pressed apples - 7 Golden Delicious & Granny apples No concentrate, no pres, no deflavoured grape juice, no added cane sugar, with added Vit C I gave Josh some on Sunday, diluted with water & his 2 stools after that, were solid but with some slight stool liquid in his nappy. Do you think this is safe to give him? I have heard that both apple & grape juices are good detoxifiers. The other prod I was unsure about was Appletiser (don't know if it is sold in other countries). It is 100% pure sparkling apple juice, no pres, no added sugar, no colourants. Does this sound okay? Thanks
Guest guest
Hi , This can get tricky. Apple Cider is different things in different countries. See http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/apple_juice _and_apple_cider.htm What is legal is the squeezed, brown juice of apples that has nothing added and is refrigerated. > Hi, > I see that Apple Cider is legal but not Apple Juice. Even so double checking with the manufacturers to make sure there are *no additives* is a good idea. > > The other prod I was unsure about was Appletiser (don't know if it is > sold in other countries). Just check against the requirements for apple cider above. Sheila, SCD 55 mos, 21 yrs UC mom of , SCD 40 mos
