Guest guest
yes, I remember you! So sorry to hear you are still struggling, but please don't feel alone. I have been explanted since 2004 and I'm stil working on some neurological issues. If you read through the posts, you'll see that many of us still struggle with inflammatory issues. Maybe there are some simple detoxing things you can start back on, like drinking enough water, trying to eat more whole foods. I am reading about coffee enemas right now helping detox the body, they sound gross but they are pretty simple to do. Butyrate may help you move out some of those toxins. Sweating is good, either from exercise or a sauna. If you are still struggling with anxiety/depression, inositol powder may help with that, there was a study done in Israel using about 12 grams a day, I believe that is equal to 2 teaspoons, dissolved in juice, one tsp in morning and one at night. The study found it to be effective as SSRI in treatment, without the side effects that cause so many to stop. Inositol also helps move out silicone from the body. I have taken it before and actually just ordered some, my nerves are about shot dealing with this stuff. hang in there, hugs, Beth L > > hey I used to post here a lot. just wanted to update you on where I am. this group helped me to get my implants out quickly, but regaining health has been grueling at best. i can't even remember how long i have been explanted, i think about 2 1/2 years now. some of the health problems left quickly, the vertigo, the numbness, the spacing out, the passing out, lots of rashes, others too. i ended up totally giving up on dealing with the fact that i was poisoned, and went from dr to dr to get the usual cfs and fibro diagnosis. i went so far as to see a specialist who almost killed me. i just got out of the hospital for opiate dependence withdrawal and severe depression/suicide thoughts. he was an alternative dr, cant say more, just that he gave me a cocktail of meds for my " fibro " that crashed my system. now i have severe hypothyrodism, after being tested over and over and told i am fine. i have complained of pain in my thyroid, mainly swollen, only to get an u/s that said it looks fine. app not fine now, and am on synthroid. the family dr is treating it, he just said he has never seen anything like my results, i guess two levels are gone and one is normal. i am writing to you all because i think i have forgotten that i am really sick from the implants. problem is, i have all the fibro symptoms, pain all the time, fatigue, still lymph nodes hurt, can't work. sorry to ramble, i am actually going to hypnosis, chiro and massage, and using high antioxidants. but am still running from dr to dr. i got off everything except ambien, now they are putting me back on elavil. any thoughts on pursuing treating fibromyalgia or just trying detox things? my thoughts have always been with this group, i have not even been on the computer in years. love to all >
Guest guest
Hey Nannette, Of course I remember you! I've often wondered what you've been doing for healing and how things have been going. I'm sorry to hear you have just been released from the hospital for the opiate dependence withdrawal combined with the depression. That's not good Nan. On the one hand I'm very happy that so many of your symptoms disappeared with explant, but it sounds like the healing journey has been far from uneventful. The medical merry go round you have been on is the one that I have always tried to keep off of myself, and hoped to help others keep off of as well. That going from Dr. to Dr. is for the birds! And it's expensive! Not to mention that it gives you a medical file 2 inches thick and the insurance companies have a field day with that. First of all, regarding the thyroid, I am wondering if you are getting ALL the testing you need done for it. It doesn't help for them to test it over and over again if all they are testing is TSH, or T3 or T4. They need to be testing for thyroid antibodies....have they done that? There are two thyroid antibody tests...the Anti-TPO antibody (or anti-thyroperoxidase.....TPOAb) and also the anti-thyroglobulin antibody test, or TgAB. These two tests together will give a picture of whether or not you have autoimmunity going on with your thyroid. You can have autoimmunity and still have normal TSH, so you remain undiagnosed if they are not including the antibody testing. How about your Free T3 and Free T4? Where do they stand? You want to be at the highest level...lower end is not helpful when you feel lethargic. The really good news is that we have success stories of women dealing with their fibro and beating it! It can be done! It takes a herculean effort to do the right combination of things though....but the fact remains that fibromyalgia does not need to be a life sentence and you do not have to remain in pain or in this medical maze that leaves you utterly exhausted and confused and no better off. Doctors have rarely been successful in treating our kind of illness and that is why I stay away from them! Nan, I will look for and find those posts, (as well as place them in a folder for future reference because we've covered this before) about healing from fibromyalgia. The key is hormones, detoxing, and paying attention to food allergies. These are things you can do at home and take care of yourself if you have the will to do them. Finding a good doctor to work with you can be helpful if you can find one. I'm so glad you wrote. Just take things easy for now, and do some reading about how we've been getting better here. Massage therapy is vital for those with fibromyalgia....it is not a luxury, but a necessity! You need to get those tissues infused with vital nutrients and fluids and keep them from hardening up and getting stiff. A weekly massage can do wonders. I wish insurance would pay for THAT! It's better therapy than many of the toxic drugs. I hope and pray you can start to feel better with the right approach. I'm curious about this alternative doc you saw? What was the cocktail of meds?
