MiniDAN! Conference in Toronto

Just wondering if anyone else out there is going to be attending the

MiniDAN! Conference in Toronto on Sept 17. I've registered but am

going alone so I'd love to hook up with someone.

My name is Laurie Mawlam. I will be volunteering at the Mini! DAN. I am

connected to Autism Canada and have been spreading the news of SCD since I

first saw Elaine speak at the April 2005 Washington DAN Conference. I

mentor parents in southwestern Ontario and have done a couple of cooking

classes in Chatham at the local High School. I was very fortunate to have

known Elaine personally and will miss her more then I can express.

I will be bringing Elaine's book, Lucy's book and Ramad's book for purchase

to the conference so I should be easy to pick out. I am also thinking of

bringing a few yogurt makers but don't know for sure.

Please come up and say hello to me.

I will be at the Friday night opener with Dr. Wakefield speaking and plan to

meet Sam and

Fannie DeCaria of Autism Canada there as well as Laurie Mawlam a strong

supporter of

SCD.

BTW: We will be holding SCD cooking classes agin in Toronto staring January,

dates and

fees to be announced.
