Guest guest
Hi all, A little while ago while my son sat in his room spinning a lid or something (he's done a little less of this since starting SCD) I suggested we read a book. For a long time he has only wanted to read alone (look at the book I mean, he's only 3 and can't read!) and turn to certain pages he likes. He'd take his book and go sit on the floor by himself. Anyway, he said " yes " to my suggestion, so we sat together on the rocking chair and I proceded to read him the whole book The Cat in the Hat Comes Back (it's a long one) without him trying to take control or leave to be on his own. I'm very encouraged! He did not pay 100% attention as I read, but to sit through a whole book is quite an accomplishment. This is only our 7th day on SCD. He also seems to quite easily answer yes or no questions while before he'd usually just repeat the question. Sue and
