Our compounding pharmacist--Phil at the Medicine Shoppe in Quakertown

PA-- makes it up for us, pure, nothing added. $120 for a 3-month supply comes

overnight in ice, at least in the summer. Only problem is that you need a

prescription for it, but maybe your doc would write one for you. If you're

interested, I can dig the above number up for you, but I don't have it handy at

the moment.

I am a sufferer of CD who has had a bowel resection. I just had an

annual check up and my physician, who supports the principles behind

the diet and is amazingly thorough, says I have very low levels of

B12. Because B12 supplements hurt my stomach, he suggested sublingual

B12. The problem is I cannot find a sublingual B12 without some

illegal ingredient. Does anyone know of a good one? Is it acceptable

to take these B12?

This is what I'm taking:

Anybody have suggestions?

You can also get B12 shots, it has been mentioned on the other SCD

lists.
