Guest guest
I used LabCorp. I like having numbers I can track. I'm going to start working harder on detoxing and see if I can get those labs down. Gliadin is a protein that helps form gluten, so you have heard about gluten allergies, celiac, right? I've been following some of Dr Shoemaker's papers, it does get confusing, but those high levels of inflammation can cause your body to start attacking itself. Like I said earlier that people who have never had problems with gluten can suddenly become intolerant. It's amazing to me that Patty and others who started this group didn't have all that information in the beginning, but they figured out that diet and liver support is key to reversing some of this stuff. Now the trick is to find what exactly will work for you., I have been detoxing on and off for 5 years now. I am much better than where I was 5 years ago, at the time I really didn't think I was going to make it. hugs, Beth L
Guest guest
beth; i often wondered if people could all of a sudden become gluten intolerent. i'd heard it was genetic. on an allergy test i took it showed not much allergy to wheat, so my dr. didnt think i had it, tho im sure you probably have to be tested? he also said i didnt show inflammation which i found astounding considering my symptoms and allergies. he's a good dr. - i dont have problems with him in that regard - hes an environmental trained, not just an m.d. or naturopath.. he believes in all the natural methods and does hyperbaric., i.v.s, etc. yes, its very cofusing, and to make it worse, i forget some things, like who said what about something! my brain is definitely in the off position often with so much info. i try to write down the important. thanks. gg Gayle: HELP, my TGF test results came in I used LabCorp.
