Sorry so long.. Need to finish. it doesn't bother me but, it does bother her

teacher at school as she cannot stay on task for only a 30 sec. time span.

Is it time to try enzymes? Anyone on this list go this route also? Thanks.

hyperactivity....

> I tried my daughter on the goat yogurt about 3 months into the diet and

she got extremely hyper from it but, also had die-off symptoms. I thought

she may have been reacting to the casein so I switched her to the almond

yogurt. She had no hyperactivity and she was not having die-off sympyoms

but, we stuck to the nut yogurt for 3 months anyway. I recently tried some

goat milk and it did give her hyperactivity but, not as bad as before so, I

tried the goat yogurt again, 1/4 tsp. for a week only seeing hyperactivity,

upped it to 1/2 tsp. and we are seeing both pretty green, red, white, black

and yellow Christmas poops with different consistencies. How can we reduce

the hyperactivity and still keep the die-off? For after the die-off period

she makes incredible gains and if I reduced the dose she would not have the

die-off and make these gains. I do the epsom salts baths at home but, what

is good for school? What is the best time to give her the yogurt. Her

hyperactivity does not bother me

I'd probably give the yogurt a dinner time, then give the activated

charcoal right as she's going to bed. Since she doesn't eat while

she's sleeping. :)

Maybe you can get through most of the die-off during the Christmas break.

Jenn,

I don't personally know anything about the worms, other than that a

lot of people get them and it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I don't know of alternative remedies for killing them.

Maybe someone else has some ideas for you.

Hopefully once you tackle this, she'll feel a lot better.

Hi!

I just wanted to mention that my 6 y.o. son (ASD-SCD one year) had an

outbreak of pinworms, as did numerous members of the family that are

not on the diet. He has not had infractions and pinworms are picked

up by ingesting the eggs which are invisible to the naked eye and can

be anywhere in the environment. The best prevention is washing ones

hand before eating, keeping ones hands out of ones mouth and of course

washing hands after having bowel mouvements. WE used Combantrin-a

single dose and a dose 2 weeks later. I attempted natural methods and

abandonned that after the second night with no sleep because he was so

uncomfortable. The first night after the medical treatment is tough,

also. Everyone slept with underwear and had their bottoms washed first

thing in the morning for a week with washing of underwear, pyjamas and

bed sheets everyday for a week.

As Jody said, having pinworms is nothing to be embarassed about. Some

people have then and are not symptomatic. They are very common.
