Guest guest
Hi everyone, I joined this group almost four years ago, not long after I got implants and realized that they were making me sick. I had recently gotten downsized from my job and decided to go to school full-time for a while. It was very difficult because just as I was starting school, I started getting sick - and I got sicker and sicker but continued to attend my classes. I remember sitting in some classes feeling like I was going to pass out or vomit any minute, but I did not miss a day of school until I was explanted. I had my implants removed six months after I got them, and initially my symptoms got worse after explant, but about four to six months later I started to improve. I wasn't in perfect shape by any means, but my determination was strong and I wanted to let all of you know that I just graduated yesterday with an Associates Degree in Business Management. I don't think I'm stopping at that, though, and am investigating a bachelors degree. Right now I'm working but I can't say I like my job - so this is driving me to continue with my education which will hopefully put me into a different line of work. During graduation, I felt pretty emotional because of all the things that have happened in the last four years since I began this degree. It made me think of how sick I was when I started, and what a challenging road it's been since then, but somehow through all of this I managed to graduate with honors - Magna Cum Laude. This group has always been such a source of inspiration, and I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to because I'm trying to balance work, home and school - but I wanted to let everyone know about my accomplishment and thank those of you who have cheered me on over the years. I encourage you not to give up on your dreams, no matter what. Love to all, Sis
