6 days after explant - short of breath

I'm now at day 6. My recovery was fairly steady until yesterday when I started

to get short of breath. My resting heart rate is now at 95, and my blood

pressure is higher than normal.

I see Dr. Kolb in a few hours, and I hope to get the drains out, but I was

wondering if anyone else had shortness of breath or high heart rates during

recovery.

Thanks,

Hi Patty. I am doing really well. It has been two weeks since explant. I

think the shortness of breath was caused in part by this compression thing I'm

wearing .. I think it was too tight and swelling and/or exertion was causing

breathing trouble. I have to wear this thing for one more week .. looking

forward to getting it off!

But, overall, my symptoms seem to have really improved. I'm going to wait a few

days to make sure, then I'll post more detail as to all the symptoms that have

improved or gone away since explant.
