Guest guest
Peace sister, You can find a little about it at http://www.glycoscience.com I have not had the opportunity to try it yet so I can not testify to it's efficacy. I was wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has had the opportunity to try it. Guest guest
Hi , It is good to see your post. Glyconutrients are a new development in dietary supplementation, providing cellular and immune system support. Pancreatitis, of course really puts a strain on the immune system. ______________________________________________________________________ Technical explanation: Research which began in 1970’s, earned Gunther Blobel, M.D., of the Medical Institute at Rockefeller University in New York City, the 1999 Nobel Prize for medicine for discovering the Glycoprotein cellular communication mechanism in the human body. He found that Glycoproteins are required for effective cellular communication to take place in the body.  ______________________________________________________________________ Easier version: The Greek word “glyco†means “sweetâ€. So “glyconutrient†means “sweet nutrientâ€, or a dietary nutrient composed of a “sugarâ€. Glyconutrients are very different, however, than the sugars used to sweeten food. There are eight glyconutirnets. One of them is from the “monosaccharides †and combine with proteins and fats to create “glycoforms†that coat the surface of virtually every cell in the body. Glycoforms function as the telephone wire between two phones, those phones being the body and the other the immune system. ______________________________________________________ There are eight essential glyconutrients to make the glycoproteins the body needs. The body cannot produce these itself and it is almost impossible to consume these in foods we eat. So now there are multiple herbal and vitamin supplement companies manufacturing this product under several different names. Like all vitamin and supplements research the manufacturer and consult your healthcare provider. I am definitely going to pursue adding this to my nutritional / vitamin / herbal regimen. What is most impressive and authenticates these glyconutrients is that he 1999 Nobel Prize for Medicine was awarded to DR. GÃœNTER BLOBEL for his work in this NEW field of Science-Medicine called Glycobiology. For further information enter glyconutrients into the search field for numerous sites. The information stated above can be validated at: http://www.glycoinformation.com/science.htmlhttp://www.glycoinformation.com/science.html Karyn E. , RN Founder / Executive Director Pancreatitis Association International Corp.
