Guest guest
Hi Patty, I wanted to comment too that I was put on a 10 day course of Presnisone last Summer for a bad case of hives. For me, that stuff was awful. I had severe tingling, electrical zapping sensations the entire time I was on it, worse than my normal neuro problems. I feel badly for anyone who has to take it. hugs, Beth L. > > I also wanted to address statement #3 in Dr. Fuhrman's suggestions for > autoimmune healing. > > Many people don't understand what the different oils are, i.e., the > EFA's, DHA, Omega 3, Omega 6, etc, and what they do in our body. > Knowing which oils to consume and which to avoid is important when > fighting autoimmunity and inflammation. > > Certain oils are pro-inflammatory, while others are anti-inflammatory. > You certainly don't want to have an imbalance of oils favoring the > pro-inflammatory oils in your diet if you are suffering from > inflammation already. Guest guest
Hi Beth, Good to see you posting. I didn't know you had taken prednisone...thanks for sharing your experience. I wonder why you had such a bad reaction? That's the first time I heard of side effects like that, and I believe you. I think Prednisone is awful, toxic stuff! But I have heard from women who have taken it when they were in an autoimmune flare and they said they felt so good they couldn't believe it was possible...of course, going off the prednisone allows those symptoms to come back. It's a sad situation to go through, for sure!
