Patty, Please inform on what is the full panel of thyroid tests needed?

HI Patty,

I recall you saying that in addition to TSH, free T3, and Free T4, one should

test for a few other things in regard to thyroid---Could you specify wha they

are--I think one is reverse T3 and the other has something to do with thyroid

antibodies or thyroid autoimmune disease?

Unfortunately, I may be developing some form of hypopigmentation/Vitiligo, and I

read that I should be tested for thyroid autoimmune disease, and I am not sure

what test I should ask the doctor for...

Sadly this is something I usually have to tell my doctor what to test for,

rather than vice versa. But at least he is open to testing me for whatever I ask

for.
