Guest guest
Does anyone know the reason that melatonin is on the illegal list? With it, my son can get to sleep at around 2:30am. Without it, it's more like 4am. I'd hate to have him give it up. a H.
Guest guest
a, Check the pecanbread.com website. Melatonin is fine to use. 2:30 is still awfully late for him to fall asleep. How much are you giving? Are you turing off all of the lights in the house after he takes it? No TV, no lights of any sort where he is trying to fall asleep. Guest guest
a, I didn't mean to sound critical in any way. I was just remembering back to a relative of mine saying that melatonin didn't work. But this person didn't turn off the lights, sit still or try to do anything that was remotely sleep inducing. She wanted the melatonin to works miracles and just MAKE her sleepy no matter what she was doing. I was merely suggesting lights off and nothing interesting to do because that is what usually helps people to fall asleep. I also read somewhere (can't remember where) that it helps to turn off the lights after taking melatonin. Guest guest
Hi Jody, I didn't take offense at your suggestion. Just felt I needed to explain our situation. I welcome any and all suggestions-- I figure that something has to work at some point! Thanks and keep them coming. a H. > a, > > I didn't mean to sound critical in any way. > > I was just remembering back to a relative of mine saying that melatonin didn't > work.
