Guest guest
hi no i use magnesium eap 2 - we have a terrible yeast problem and many of the mineral bases feed yeast citrate being one of them normally i use 2tsp of liquid paraffin for kai (7) twice a day depending on bms as well of course if theres orangy grease reduce or omit next dose - but i have only been using 400 g of magnesium and 2 g of vitamin c, and 1tsp of paraffin for fian twice a day but same dosage of vit c and magnesium but after reading other peoples accounts of using higher amounts, today i did the test of how much magnesium and vitamin c every hour unti they have a bm, well i started at 8.30 am, its now 4 pm ive given 8 doses so far 100g of eap magnesium each time and 500g of vitamin c each time - no bm so far!!!! so looks like ill have to rework dosages as clearly its been the liquid paraffin thats been having more of an impact than the c and magnesium!!! the frightening thing is in a way just how deficient are my boys where at these amounts neither are showing any signs of d - ie toxicity ?? im assuming that d starts at a level when the body is no longer able to absorb any more as it has as much as it needs so kai and fian should really be supplemented with at least 800 mg of magnesium a day and 4g of vitamin c? wow thanks emma jjcox22 jjcox22@...> wrote: emma do you use magnesium citrate? Guest guest
Emma, First, what is eap magnesium? Second, I believe that there are many reasons for constipation. So when Eli did not respond to high doses of magnesium or high doses of vitamin C, I assumed that wasn't his problem. If they don't get diarrhea from very high doses of Mag or C, I don't think that necessarily means that they need more. I think it just means that that isn't the solution for that kid. I could be wrong, of course! a H. mom to Eli, 20, scd 2 months, still constipated -- In pecanbread , Emma wrote: > hi no i use magnesium eap 2 - we have a terrible yeast problem and many of the mineral bases feed yeast citrate being one of them > > normally i use 2tsp of liquid paraffin for kai (7) twice a day depending on bms as well of course if theres orangy grease reduce or omit next dose - but i have only been using 400 g of magnesium and 2 g of vitamin c, and 1tsp of paraffin for fian twice a day but same dosage of vit c and magnesium > > but after reading other peoples accounts of using higher amounts, > > today i did the test of how much magnesium and vitamin c every hour unti they have a bm, well i started at 8.30 am, its now 4 pm ive given 8 doses so far 100g of eap magnesium each time and 500g of vitamin c each time - no bm so far!!!! > > so looks like ill have to rework dosages as clearly its been the liquid paraffin thats been having more of an impact than the c and magnesium!!! > > the frightening thing is in a way just how deficient are my boys where at these amounts neither are showing any signs of d - ie toxicity ?? > > im assuming that d starts at a level when the body is no longer able to absorb any more as it has as much as it needs > > so kai and fian should really be supplemented with at least 800 mg of magnesium a day and 4g of vitamin c? > > wow > > thanks > > emma > > > jjcox22 wrote: > emma > do you use magnesium citrate?
