Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, Whipping cream does contain some lactose so it needs to be treated with a yogurt starter and incubated for 24 hrs in the same manner as milk. There is a recipe in BTVC for making yogurt and french cream also more info at: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/beginners_guide/beginners.htm under " SCD yogurt " details on how to make it and what types of milk and cream to use. I've used whipping cream (no additives especially no gums or carrageenan) treated with yogurt starter and it is quite a treat. Sheila > Did someone post a recipe for an SCD-legal whipped cream here? I thought I saw one and saved it, but now I can't find it. > > If anyone knows of one, would you please post it again? >
