Conference, Krigsman, ketones HELP!

Hi All, We went to the National Autism Conference on the 10-13

and it was great! Very informative and SCD was mentioned several

times, even though diet was not a separate topic. I am very distressed

though, Dr. Krigsman told me that it sounded like Peyton might need to

be on an elemental diet. YUK! His diarrhea is not better and more

smelly and we have been at this for 6mos. His latest labs show his

ketones through the roof!!!!! So obviously he needs more carbs. The

only other foods he is able to eat are not SCD allowed.(sweet potatoes

and rice) I don't feel like I have any choice other than to get off

the diet. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? His yeast is

waaaay down and the clostridia is even way down (and we haven't even

treated it) He is still occasionally

having pain when going poo. Do you all think it just coincidence that

the diarrhea started after SCD? I know there have been no dietary

infractions, I see every bite he eats. I really think that I am past

thinking it could possibly be die-off....any words of wisdom would be

appreciated.
