Dearest Support Group:When I first started researching the breast implant debacle in August 1995 ... a very very very long 14 years ago ... Lynda was one of the first support leaders I contacted ... and to this day, continues to be a wealth of information and support.

We will love you always, Lynda. I want to let everyone know I know I have unresponded to requests lost now in thousands and thousands of messages ... I wish I had more time to dedicate to this cause at the moment, but am working very hard just to stay afloat. Please send or re-send any requests today or tomorrow with a note in the subject line ... that way your important message won't get lost.

Hi all,

My update is overdue, but until I had the results of the CT scan and talked with the doc, I did not have much to share.

The CT scan does not show any increase in liver cancer since the PET scan of 5/17.  It does show a lesion in the top lobe of my lung.  I have an appt. with Rocky Mt. Cyberknife on 8/24 to start the process to have that zapped (removed by radiation).  It will probably be early Sept. before I am actually treated.  My doctor thinks I will make it into the new year and if these drugs keep working on keeping the liver cancer from growing, it could be longer.

I am going to continue with the aromatase inhibitors for now as they seem to be slowing growth of any cancer.  I also will have another product that is being tested that I plan to take as it shows great promise. I have discussed this with my doctor.  He tried to find a trial for me using this drug.

I have been to my class reunion (Richfield Utah) and to Crestone (5 hour drive to visit grandkids and Lonny) since I am off chemo.  I have more energy, but nothing like I had before I started treatment.  I am able to do things that I could not do when on chemo.

My family (brothers and sisters) are coming to visit in mid-Sept.  I think we will have a great time.

I hope you all are doing well.

Love,

Lynda
