Guest guest
I just got hold of the DCCC link and now understand that there's more to DCCC than ingredients. I'm looking for a kosher DCCC cheese, not Friendship. I'd prefer a different standard of kosher supervision (Friendship is kosher, but I hope someone out there will know what I mean). Please feel free to contact me offlist. Thanks and take care, Fay
Guest guest
Fay, I know exactly what you mean by different DCCC's. I ordered a 5 lbs. from a health food store thinking it was the right stuff and well, looking at it, it can't be. It is far from dry. It is very white. It says, Friendship farmer cheese. cultured pasteurized skim milk, cream and salt. All natural. made without hormones. It has no curds and it is smooth in appearance. It is cow's milk but, not the right kind. I will use it in recipes for my husband. Is real DCCC cow's milk? Do ASD kids react to it? And Jody, if you are listening, the GiProHealth company told me on the phone that they only ship Mon.-Wed. I received my starter on Wed. Ordered on Sat. Also, is the Custom Probiotics non-dairy starter better becuase it has more beneficial bacteria in it? Please anyone respond.
