The doctor is being negligent. You NEED a thyroid antibodies test

regardless of what your TSH is.

You can have antibodies and still have a normal TSH test. If you are

having pain in your thyroid area, he needs to get on it and figure out

why.

Find a new doctor if you can!

Nannette, because a doc " thinks/assumes " he knows what is

going on is not a good excuse for ignoring your concernes or requests. It is NO sweat off his brow to run the test.......
