My son is 3 years old. I knew something was wrong with him

the day he was born. He cried and had behavior problems until I

started the SCD diet 11 months ago. I breastfed him until he was 18

months old. It is great that you are still breast feeding, that

helps a lot. When I stopped breastfeeding the chronic diarrhea began

and got worse from there.

I was a little concerned about starting the SCD diet without

consulting a doctor so I went to see Dr Stuart Ditcher in Brooklyn.

Elaine Gottschall recommended him. He is a pediatrician and his

number is . I live in Spain and I actually just saw him

once while visiting my parents so he didn´t treat matthew, but at

least he is probably more aware than your average pediatrician. And

I am sure he takes insurance.

In spain I went from Dr. to Dr. trying to figure out why he still had

the watery stools and behavoir problems even with the scd diet. I

use a DAN dr here (it is a lot more affordable than in US) and

through comprehensive stool testing at great plains labs realized he

had Candida, Bacteria and Parasites. Hair testing showed that he

also has metals.

So what I thought was a diet problem was much more and I wish I knew

to look into other things earlier than I did. This may not be your

child´s case, but maybe Dr Stuart Ditcher can help you with the

journey.
