Dear Dr Tan,

Hi My name is Shanelle.

First i would like to thank you for the time you put in to help women who have

suffered from implants and who have been ignored by the medical profession and

pushed aside. You have upheld your oath " First do no harm " and you are a credit

to your profession, thank you!!

My story is not unlike the many women on this site, so i wont get to detailed,

other then tell you that I had my implants in for 23 yrs, was explanted 1 year

ago, I have allot of neurological problems and joint and muscle pain,

inperticular I have a hard lump between my left shoulder blade which causes me

pain and I feel is the root of allot of my problems as it feels as if it is

putting pressure on my spine,I've seen Dr.'s which say it's muscle, my

chiropractor say its not muscle or a bone and should have it checked out, Ive

tried accupuntcher, pilates and massages to tri and work this thing loose,

nothing seems to work. The lump is on the same side of the implant that was

torn, is it possible that silicone could of migrated there and formed a capsule

around it?

Anyway, the real quetion I have is....can I order a MRI or CAT scan without a

Dr.'s order, or do I need one...cause quite frankly I am fed up with them and

can't bare to be told its all in my head, or i am seeking for attention again.

Warmest regards,

Thank you for your time, looking forward to your response.

Shanelle
