Guest guest
Hi Darci, It sounds as if he is going through some kind of die off (The green stool is definitely an indicator of die off). Going back to a basic diet for a couple of days (and then re-adding food back in gradually but not too slowly), using epsom salt baths and/or activated charcoal may help clear it out sooner. If you keep a food journal over the next while you should be able to see if he is having problems with any particular food(s) It is good to hear he is sleeping better. My son went SCD at the middle of May this year. I know there is a 5 mos dye off that some experience. I am wondering if anyone can share the symptoms they have experienced with this. I haven't given my son any fruit in the past couple of days because the dark circles under his eyes have returned and I wanted to see if it may be the fruit. Today I noticed his breath is smelling bad all day the same smell. He also had a dark brownish green thick stool which I saw when he first started SCD as well. His sensory issues seem to be bothering him although they had gone away (certain tunes in music). I have started giving him more calcium and magnesium the past couple of days and increased his probiotic and a little more zinc. Does any of this look like something any of you have seen? I didn't weigh him but he seems to feel lighter as well (I have to get a new battery for my scale). He has also been sleeping better and going to sleep faster than normal. Any thoughts would be great.
