Guest guest
* , I went onto the site you posted, thanks for sharing info, but am I missing something? I don't understand what they do. I read and read and read but can't figure it out. They say you totally eliminate the allergic food for 25 hgours once treatment is going, but what is the treatment- drugs, hynosis, what? Did you happen to understand more then I did? I am interested cause if I could eliminate my sons allergy to soy it would make this diet so much easier. And it mentions how eczema stuff goes away from this treeatment. I am so curious. I will call one of the doctors listed tomorrow. Please keep me posted if you know or find out anything more. in New York * On Fri, 2 Feb 2001 17:30:16 -0800 " Moya " lauramoya@...> writes: > Have any of you done NAET? Guest guest
go to www.naet.com but I think even if you read the description, you still will not get it! It's pretty freaky. It's muscle testing and treatment. the explanation is hugely funky but I will be a monkey's aunt if it doesn't work for those who follow the program faithfully. I have a few friends who use it on their kids and it's done wonders. As far as negating the need for the GFCF Diet? The NAET people will tell you yes, but in real life none of the families I have talked to have been able to reintroduce G or C. They are however able to introduce many other things. Guest guest
Isn't it true that our children's intolerance to both gluten and casein is not an allergy? Based on the theories I've read (i.e. Mecury poisoning and Yeast overgrowth due to antibiotics) treating their autistic symptoms as a simple allergy could not possibly work. We've got to heal the gut. NAET might be able to eliminate true allergies, and therefore would be a great supplemental therapy, should it work, for those children suffering from allergies such as corn and soy. Please keep us posted. Michele > go to www.naet.com but I think even if you read the description, you still > will not get it! It's pretty freaky. Guest guest
I have done 2 NAET sessions for my son so far. I am not challenging casein or gluten, but I've been addressing his other sensitivities such as soy, egg, apples, etc. It isn't exactly set up in that fashion in terms of dealing with one specific food, but my practioner has been willing to indulge me a little here. I really like what I've seen so far. had a bad reaction to eggs, in particular, and after the session he's been fine with eggs. No red ears or spinning around or anything else, which is good because eggs are the only animal protein he will eat. I intend to continue with NAET for as long as I can afford it. I really believe in it. ( & Malachi's mom)
Guest guest
we have been doing Naet every week for one year. my dr. tests ou for 1800 foods and substances the first day and tries to clear all at once, than a week later you test for those if some are still there he clears you for those etc.. ana had 300 allergies the first day, 200 the second , 40 the third and then 7 or 8 tor around 5 more visits, What i do is removed all the allergens from her food, and her environment, I have read that there are several ways to correct or clean allergies, one is this, other is giving time to the brain to forget the allergen, more than one year , and then reintroducing the allergen diluted in water ,I just started that 10 days ago with chicken. My doctor clear them with laser and he has tought me to test ana and clear her myself, so when I ago every week I am very accurate on the things she needs to be cleaned, I am very good in testing but not very succesfull on clearing her, although I have stoped coughing in 3 minutes several times. The changes I saw were her eyes more cleared, less spacy, more tuned in, more language, less wining, more happiness, stoped injuring herself, and doing things with her fingers. I started the SCD 15 days ago, the only change for ana was removig rice, and soaking the beans and lentils, and that helped her because she dad been moving her thumbs all the time for the past 3 months. NAET said rice was ok for ana, but I ddecided to stop and she stoped moving them. Naet is very very very important but I believe the allergens need to stay out of the diet for some time or ever. thanks, I hope this helps someone, just as we were helped with this recent change in ana laura
