But I have a question for all who deal alot with sinuses. has been complaining of headaches in his forehead. I nkow his upper sinuses had not formed yet as of June. Is this a common complaint with sinusitis sufferers? I am going to get him inti the ent here shortly if it continues, it has been going on for over a week now. mom to 3wcf and Brenna 7wocf _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com

Guest guest
I have a bad sinus infection, the kind that is like stuck up in the sinuses and doesn't drain, except at night when I lay down THis works so very well for me--it's a nightly ritual. There is a product called Sinus Rinse. It's a simple saline solution that you mix iwht water and it comes with an 8 oz. water bottle. FIll the bottle with warm water and the solution (it's PH balanced) and put it up to one nostril. Squeeze the water in gently, and it'll wash the mucus out the other nostril. Repeat on the other side. At first it seems gross, but it is the only way I've been able to survive using oxygen 24/7, and my CPAP at night. Both are so drying, that my sinuses were becoming impacted and constently infected. I get this from the local drugstore--Longs, Walgreens, Costco. There is no burning, (like you get when you suck water up your nose swimming)--NONE of that-- so it really is wonderful, and you will be able to breath again! Guest guest
Hey guys just a note to add in with what Tracie had to say, they make a couple of saline gels now one is called ARY (my personal favorite) then there is another called Ocean Gel, both have a moisturizing ingredient in them, the ARY has aloe vera, in it it has no smell what so ever and I use a q-tip and put a little on the tip and apply it to the inside of my nose both sides, when I have MRI's or have to lay flat for an exam I have to have oxygen and it hurts to bad to not use something, and I also have sleep apnea and use a C-Pap machine, can't do with out my nasal gel. -- Re: Sinus I have a bad sinus infection, the kind that is like stuck up in the sinuses and doesn't drain, except at night when I lay down THis works so very well for me--it's a nightly ritual. Guest guest
thanks Tracie, I do need to pick that up, I can feel the yuck, but it doesn't blow out. I started my antibiotic yesterday, so hopefully will start feeling better soon. My husband come home Friday mid afternoon and I was sleeping, he asked if that was the Sarcoid or the Sinus Infection? You know with all the energy I've had lately I would have to say this time it's the sinus infection. I start teaching again on Monday, I did OK with the twice a week for a couple hours, the rest of the work I can do from home, and it's a little extra cash. I pray you have a good weekend, Tracie, I pray for you often, all of "us". God Blessings, Marla THis works so very well for me--it's a nightly ritual. There is a product called Sinus Rinse. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, I do use the old fashion stuff, can't think of it, that your Mom used put on our chest when we had colds, anyway I put that up in my nose, and it helps promote more drainage too, but my drainage always seems to go down my throat, so I cough more up in the am. Will have to try the rinses.
