This group is so helpful with these issues. I'm hoping you can advise me, as

you are farther along than I am. I just got my first denial today (and I

had to call them to get that), I have Free State a subsidiary of BCBS of

MD. I was denied as Dr. R is out of network. They contacted a dr. in

network and suggested I see him. It is a dr. from Baltimore a 2hr drive, I

called the office and was told they only do open procedures. This is not

acceptable to me. I have notified my insurance via voicemail of this and now

I wait to see what they have to say. I am not patient and will call again

on Monday. I don't trust voicemail. Please let me know if BCBS is your

insurer and if you have any words of wisdom. Thanks.
