a,

Congratulations on you're weight loss!!! What you said about you're

son reminded me of mine. When my son was around 8 or 9 yrs. old (he's

now 20) I was on one of my many diet programs (Optifast at that time I think)

and when my son would try to hug me by wrapping his arms around my waist ho

couldn't get his hands to come together so he told that he would be able to

tell if my " new diet " was working by hugging me everyday and see where his

hands came to, well I finally lost enough for him to be able to clasp his

hands together and he was as thrilled as I was, but of course this didn't

last as I gained it all back plus more a few months after being off the

program. Well, he is now 20 yrs. old and of course can wrap his arms easily

around me now, but I have 3 grandchildren that I would sure like to be able

to do this and use it as a gauge as my son did to show weight loss. I'm sorry

for rambling on, you're story just brought back a precious memory to me of a

beautiful, sweet, kind loving little boy who was trying to help his mama with

love!!!

Cathy, you weren't rambling. That was a great story. I can't wait until all

your little grandchildren can get their arms around all of you. :) Liz,
