Guest guest
hi, i am going to have major problems managing this whole enzyme issue and staying compliant to scd during term time neither the school or nursery will administer any type of medication even with permission from the docter - big suing culture here i am left with a stark choice - if they go to school - they both have to adminster the enzymes themselves, being 7 and 2 i cant see this being much of an option, kai could probably actually manage the whole opening the capsule and adding water thing with support from the teacher but i dont really know how happy theyll be to do this and wether they will even remember to do it, and for the little one its not even an option, or go without so my choice is therefore that they have to go with the chewable enzymes to school and that they are considered therefore part of the school snack and dinner i do remember sheila saying (to the point - how is she - been a while since she posted????) that if a child/adult needed medicine and it included illegal ingredients then to to offer this medicine, while staying as compliant to scd in other ways that you could, i feel that this is the only way for us, and although it is a double edged sword - i hope the benefits can outweigh and negatives its very very frustrating as obviously i have huge concerns that this will slow down any obvious healing but we have no choice thank you for listening emma > I believe they have xylitol in them. That is why I stopped using them for my son even though he loved them.Bummer! > Bivens > chewable enzymes > > > Sorry, I meant Houston chewable enzymes.
