I'm finding I'mgetting a stuffy nose. I was wondering if you had this symptom when starting kefir or heard of it. I'm not positive it's the kefir. Guest guest
Hi, Amazingly, when I first started with kefir, I got bladder infections! It concerned me, but I wrote to a kefir group and other women had said they experienced it at first as well. So, I continued with the kefir, and eventually those bladder infection feelings went away and did not return. I think for me it was a bunch of bad guys leaving my system from the good guys pushing them out. I was glad to see them go, actually. I am wondering if your weak spot is in your sinuses? Perhaps the good guys are doing their work where it needs it most...I do not know, but my suggestion would be to take a break for a few weeks and see how you feel when you reintroduce kefir. Do you have any issues with casein, or allergies to dairy? Patty > > Hi Patty, > I've been drinking kefir for a while now (raw jersey milk, real kefir grains). I'm finding I'mgetting a stuffy nose. Guest guest
I can remember one time when I started trying out raw milk and made kefir too and loved it! My nails is the first thing I recognized, how strong they got. I then tend to go overboard with anything I like.I was making yogurt, kefir, cheese. I was a frantic junkie when it came to the raw milk. I came up with this brain idea to do a fast on Kefir, did I ever get congested and I am not prone to nasal or chest congestion, did I ever have it after that.Just lighten up on your kefir and see what happens.
