Flu shot and immune support

I'm new to the group. I don't have internet access (DH signed me up from

work) so I must apologize if these issues have been covered. My son is

almost 13, has Crohn's, dx in early summer, though anemia and rheumatic

symptoms were much worse than the GI ones. He's been on the diet for a

month and is on Pentasa and prednisone. (His GI is reluctant to take him

off the steroids since I'm refusing Imuran.)

My question is, should I have any concerns about his having the flu shot,

and what kind of immune support should I give him? Also, what concerns do

homeopathic remedies cause - I think most are sugar based, but ingested

sublingually.
