Guest guest
My experience has been this..When I first came home I craved everything sweet and I slipped up more times then I care to admit and ate that without the dumping syndrome unfortunately. I talked to several people from the Carnie support page that told me that was completely normal to crave and still think of yourself as hungry but that it subsides in apprx 2-3 weeks and oddly enough..they were right. I still every now and then will crave ice cream or cake and I have that....a bite and trust me, that satisfies me completely. I am now at the point where nothing interests me as far as food is concerned. Its sometimes sad to think that I'll never have that passion for food again but its a good thing..a healthy place for me to be. Although you do have to work at it...this is for the most part, a fool proof plan. You would have to be Godzilla to be able to stretch your stomach enough to take in enough food to fail at this surgery. Just remember, protein first then the rest. And Steve...beer is a big no no 40 pounds gone in 4 weeks post op Make a great day losers!!!!!!
