I know, I'm bad to not have posted already, but I've been a little tired and

BUSY!

I'm fine. I had my MGB on Monday at 7:30 a.m. - I'm #600! I had a lot of

pain the first day, but my darling angel Claire called Dr. R and got me the

pump which took care of the pain. (AGAIN, how can I ever thank you

Claire???) I went to the afternoon clinic on Tuesday, and then went back to

the hotel and took a little nap. The boys came up from my Aunt's house

Tuesday night, then we all went to bed. We came home to VA Wed. (I guess

I'm busted Dr. R - but I promise, I'm fine) and I worked for a couple of

hours, then went to bed around 11 p.m.

I'm a little emotional, a little hungry (I think it's my head, not my

tummy!), and I'm still wondering if I had the surgery at all. If it weren't

for the 5 tiny holes on my belly, I would not believe it at all! I'm

sipping my juice and Gatorade, drinking my carafate (doesn't bother me, but

it's not the best) and generally doing whatever I want. I had Wonton soup

broth last night for dinner, and it was HEAVEN. I'll have it for lunch,

too. I had diarrhea (sp?) yesterday, so I started my Citrucel yesterday,

and hopefully that will help. Haven't had any problems today.

frame!) and Elaine (I hope you did well!) who each came to visit me in the

hospital.

Also, THANKS to Claire (what can I say?), Trish (I'd do anything for you!),

Steve (sorry we never made it for our meeting!), (since you called

AND came by!), and I hope I'm not missing anyone here... for calling to make

sure I was OK, and keep my spirits up.

I've never felt so loved. It was truly wonderful. I can't thank you

enough, and everyone on this list who has prayed for me and worried about

me...thanks so much. Knowing you were here made everything so much easier.

I'll write more later. Gotta go drink my Carafate.
