I'm glad i found this group and am saddened to hear so many side effects and

nasty implant experiences. Needless to say, I am still detremined to change my

breast size.

It seems the cohesive gel implant would be the " safer " of the choices on the

market today.

If any ladies could offer advice on pre and post-op treatments or precautions,

i'm all ears. Any little tidbits that you wish you knew before you had the

surgery. (besides not having it in the 1st place)

Actually, they are still covered by the same substance. In saline implants, the

contents of which is merely saline water or " 0.9% sodium chloride " . The issue in

saline implants is not the content, but the container. That means, having the

saline and cohesive gel would be the same.

In actuality, I would, of course, without a doubt, say that saline implant would

be better than cohesive gel because should the implant rupture, it would be

noticed, while in cohesive gel, it maintains its shape hence cannot be

ascertained if it ruptured or not. Making the body more in contact with the

liquid / gel silicone inside.
