Hi All,

Just wanted to post my good news to offer others hope. Two years ago at the age of 37 I was diagnosed with glaucoma. I went to neuro-opthamologist s, retinologists, optic neurologists, etc and had every excruciating test done to my eyeballs...even wires and dyes injected to measure various things! Docs were puzzled since this is a disease that is typically not diagnosed in those under 60 years of age.

All the docs told me I'd have to be on prescription meds for life or I would go blind. At the time, I was blind in my left eye.

Fortunately, I met a wonderful doc who is an MD/ND who told me not to listen to them. He said all vision problems stem from gut/liver problems. He said that the prescription meds were dangerous because even though they reduced intraocular pressure, they affect blood pressure and every other system in the body as well. He told me to clean my body: liver flushes, coffee enemas, clean diet.

I took his advice and slowly over the past two years my vision returned!! Today I had my pressures tested and they were NORMAL. Absolutely NO sign of glaucoma!!! My pressures went from 40+ to now 20 (20 is considered the high end of normal). Yes, it took a long time, but it happened through patience, prayer and diligence!

No, I still don't feel normal...still have occasional visual disturbances, headaches, digestion issues and fatigue, BUT I am certain that I'm on the right path!!

I'm going to Hippocrates Health Institute for a 2 week raw food detox. Two years ago I was so bedridden there was NO WAY I would have been able to go. This has been the slowest healing ever it seems, but it is happening!! More than anything, keep your faith...hard I know at times.

Wishing all of us complete and total health.

Love,

PH

>That is such fantastic news!

I think we all believe our healing is much slower than we want, but we all must

stay the course, because you are proof that it can happen. We can heal

ourselves!

Wonderful news!

Hi Gayle,

His name is Dr. Simon Yu and here is his website. Lots of great articles. People travel hours and hours to see him as there are not many docs like him in the midwest.

http://preventionandhealing.com/

Someone told me he was on the Board at -Jewish Hospital (#3 hospital in US) but that he was kicked off because he suggested that for some cancer patients Apple Cider Vinegar may be of benefit instead of harmful chemo drugs...not sure if that is true or not. He will still prescribe certain meds and even surgery in some cases but he also thinks outside the box and prefers to detox the body first. Interestingly in his office he has pamphlets recommending coffee enemas, colonics, liver flushes, etc...everything Patty has suggested. He is very big into parasite cleaning as he thinks those with chronic illness most likely have parasitic infections (among heavy metals, etc).

you for that! I still have a ways to go, but it'll happen. Thinking of you

every day and wishing you complete and total health. You'll make it too.

Wow, that's fantastic. I'm in much the saem boat. I've been on SCD (specific

carbohydrate diet) since Jan 1. I've seen slow healing but still very, very

ill. One dramatic change though is I can tolerate copious amounts of fats w/o

my face breaking out. I use to not be able to eat even 5 almonds. Now I can

eat 3 T almond butter, 2 T sunflower seeds, up to 6 T olive oil and no probs.

Also, my hair loss has significantly slowed down. But, like you, still very

ill.

Congratulations.

hi ph;

this dr's website certainly looks good. is he from a different country, or did he grow up here? wondering if other countries see health care a little different.

his free monthly seminar looks like a good deal. are you in his area? too bad he's so far away from me.

thanks. for the info.
