Since I have gotten my house all cleaned up, clothes to goodwill, etc. I have attacked my moms house. She left at 6am Sat to go to Florida, and I was there at 9am...all day. Same goes for Sunday. Then I went yesterday after work for a couple hours. I plan to spend all day this Sat there, then Sunday at my house. I even cleaned all my desk drawers at work. I don't know if this is just to keep my mind and body occupied or just in case something happens things are in order. I finally got the verdict from my insurance...denied! I wasn't surprised. Had to get my HR dept involved because I kept getting the runaround. Luckily I called Monday to take money out of our retirement acct. They said I could appeal even if I go ahead and have the surgery. Also, they would cover any complications. Question for self-pay postops: I was told I needed certified checks for the hospital and dr's office. I thought someone had written they had charged their charge cards. I'm just afraid that with my luck my checks from retirement acct won't get to the house until Wed and they will put my surgery on hold until they have the money in their hands.
