Good morning, Ladies:

I found Coumarin in my hand cream, and I wonder if it is safe. I use it for lip-gloss as well. Coumarin, like Coumadin, is a long-term lung specific carcinogen. We found it in perfume, too, and this makes me think that this might be causing my tongue to burn. The manufacturers make it impossible to read the ingredients by making the print too small. We had to use a magnifying glass to read the ingredients! I must continue to take Coumadin until my doctors can find another safer blood-thinner.
