Dear Everyone:

Does anyone know if Mapliene made by Crescent is legal. Its been manufactured

since 1916, so I'm optimistic it might be. Its ingredients are natural

flavorings, caramel color, alcohol, phosphoric acid, vanillin and sulfiting

agents. I'm little worried about the natural flavorings but anyway anyone who

knows that would be very helpful. I have a memory of a discussion of this

product on a prior list serve for adults. I just don't remember whether it was

legal. I did a search on both pecan bread and breaking the vicious cycle.

Thank you, Eileen
