Guest guest
Hi all, I am not that computer literate, so I hope I've done the right thing. Anyway, it is o.k. to cry, actually it releases lots of soothing chemicals in the brain. That is why we feel so " drained " after a good crying jag--believe me I have had some in my day. Keep thinking about how you'll feel after surgery. I was a brittle diabetic, and have had absolutely no diabetic meds since the night before my surgery 9/13/99. I have Medicare and Humana PPO as my insurance companies. Both paid. I had to remind them that this procedure was medically necessary (for both my mental and physical health), and that it costs appx 35 grand a year for diabetic supplies, meds alone!!! I also said that Dr. Rutledge does not charge enough for the procedure. In Florida, for instance, the messy surgery goes for 45K, and that is not including aftercare, hospital, etc., meds. Just my two cents. Thanks for reading Rexanne
