My 2yr ASD son is very picky. His diet consists of eggs, almond cookies, some chicken, some turkey, spinach, apples, pears, bananas, raisins, strawberries, an occasional blueberry, grape juice and water, will not touch a veggie at this point. I sneak spinach into his scrambled eggs. I have tried so many recipes to have him spit them out. He is just finally starting to be interested in what we are eating and tried a pea of off my mom's plate the other day. (he ate 4) He Has licked an orange slice or two recently also. Thank god for bananas, they are his absolute favorite. He eats up to 4 a day. Great for carbs. It is so hard to get fat into him as he does not seem to like red meat. His fat intake basically comes from the 3 eggs he eats for breakfast every day. I add extra oil to them. He is skinny and I am always worried he is not getting enough fat. Keep trying. -Kim-Mom to Noah 2yo ASD, SCD since Feb 2005
