To the ER again

Hi everyone...

Just thought I would drop a line before I head off to

the ER again. I'm waiting for my daughter to get here

from picking up my son. Not going to try driving

again with the pain meds. Too scary.

The intern at the medical center seems to think that

one darvocet a day until I go to IU is going to get me

through this flare. The ER docs script for Darvocet

lasted until yesterday afternoon... I called the

center yesterday morning and yesterday afternoon,

yadda yadda yadda. The nurse finally told me today

that the intern said I couldn't have anymore pain meds

until I went to IU. (LAST WEEK! Why didn't they tell

me that then? Geesh!)

I still don't have an appointment for IU and I am

beginning to think that it would be just easier to say

forget the whole mess. I just won't eat anymore after

this flare calms down... slimfast and ice water will

have to do, maybe an occasional salad.
