I did not know this, thanks. So does this mean that the diet is not

working for him because he has been taking this? What exactly happens

when you take something that isn't legal, does the who scientific part

not mesh together? Just thought I would ask in case you knew the

The basis of SCD is to starve the unfriendly gut bacteria that proliferate and

interfere with

digestion and allow toxins to accumulate. By avoiding illegal foods and

supplements, we

starve these bacteria and the " good " bacteria predominate. A small quantity

of an illegal

can interfere with healing.

Eventually after a year without symptoms some things can be tolerated again

Illegals can interfere with healing. However in cases where a medical condition

demands

certain medication, exceptions are made. Health comes first.

An example: When there is danger of infection, an anti biotic may be required

Anti biotic can cause diegestive regression but can be countered with a pro

biotic or extra

yoghurt.
