A yogurt-making question

Hi folks! I'm new here.

I am making yogurt for the first time today. I bought the kind of

yogurt-maker that has the small individual (6 oz.) jars instead of the

one larger jar, because of space limitations in my tiny fridge.

Should I still cook the yogurt 24 hours, or should I shorten the

cooking time a little because the smaller jars might cook faster? I

don't want to fry the good little bugs by overcooking them!

On Elaine's website, it says cooking longer than 30 hours starts to

kill the good bacteria. Does anyone else use the smaller jars, and if

so, do you adjust cooking time?

Thank you so much for your help!
