Be courageous. Tweek! yesterday I dumped pecan flour, eggs, DCCC, honey, baking soda and vanilla in the Cusinart. Didn't measure a thing. I baked it in a springform on parchment paper and got a thin but absolutly scrumptous flat cake. it was moist and chewy. It is the bane of Jody;s existence when I come up with these unmeasured creative experiments! :-) Carol F.

Guest guest
I think somebody wrote in the past some recipes for coconut and almond flour. The recipes can be found in SCD with Taste and Tradition. DMHelmick1@... wrote: I need a recipe with a mix of Coconut flour and Almond flour. I can't find any that has a mix of the two flours so that their isn't so much of one type of flour. I don't know if the recipes I made so far would work out with me tweeking the recipe... lol.. I just really don't want to risk wasting flours by experimenting...so. I thought I'd ask if anyone has done this or knows of a recipe that calls for the two. I think when I make recipes with all almond flour is abit much for my son. So I thought I'd try making a mix of two or more types of flours. So if you have a recipe with almond flour/coconut flour or even cashew /Coconut flour would you send to to me? DMHelmick1@...DMHelmick1@... btw: I made the Pumpkin Cake recipe and it was real good. I took it to a Christmas party and didn't mention what it was made from and everyone really liked it. I later told them and they were very surprised that something made with healthy ingredients was so yummy! Thanks! ~ n
