Guest guest
My son is gfcf and I am ready to try SCD. No more sugar or rice from today forward. Is is ok to try a recipe with butter before I've introduced yogurt? It will take a while before I can get to the homemade yogurt, but I wanted to try some dishes with butter and honey. If I'm going to take away his usual treats, I'd like to make something really yummy to kick things off. Thanks, Amy

Start with the introductory diet: http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#intro After that, you may wish to use the Stages as a guideline or introduce foods of your own choice caustiously, keeping a food journal. http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#beyond Carol F. Guest guest
You might try getting some ghee and using it first. It's clarified butter and will contain just the fat and no casein. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
