Guest guest
I had my surgery on March 30 and have lost 34 pounds. It's a little slower than most but I have VERY happy about it. I've started wearing clothes that I thought I would never get into again. Now, here's my question. I try to drink a protein shake or have something to eat right before I go to bed to carry me through the night. However, I have found that in the morning I am having a hard time finding stuff to eat that doesn't make me sick or nauseous (spelling?). I think this is because I have gone all night without eating and I am used to eating every three or so hours. Has anyone else had this problem? Does it gradually go away? What did you do to alleviate it? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks! Pope Raleigh, NC http://www.intrex.net/wolfette
Guest guest
Dear , Yes it does go away with time. I am 4 mo post op now and I eat a bowl of old fashioned Oatmeal for breakfast with real butter and brown sugar on it and it agrees with me perfectly!!! I make the smallest serving on the box with 1 cup water to l/2 cup oats. When I was 1 mo. post op I ate a bowl of the ins butter flavored grits and did fairly well. I think that if you would get up in the morning and just have some water first and wait a while that would help. Anne from Mo.
