I always see you posts but i have not seen how you are feeling, Please share. Its coming fast for some of us. >> Trisha, It's amazing how the time is going to fly for you and the others scheduled before Dr. R. leaves town! I'm so excited for all of you!! I remember the thrill of finding out I was approved, getting a date and finding out who my Littermates were! What fun!!!! I'm doing much better than I was for the past two weeks. The stomach bug has finally left me...THANK GOD!!!!! I started feeling better on Friday, which was a good thing because I had a Music Ministry workshop to go to over the weekend. I went and did just fine. still needs prayers. He didn't spike a fever today...again...THANK GOD!!, but he's still coughing like mad. I tried a different cough syrup on him tonight and it seemed to do better. We'll see how he does tomorrow. he doesn't have school, so he can rest up some more. Overall I'm feeling great. I had more energy today than I've had in 2 weeks! I managed to accomplish some things at home for a change and didn't really need a nap. I've lost 22 lbs and 15.25 inches, so I'm a happy camper. I'm trying whatever looks appealing to me. Some days it works, others it doesn't. Even for the same foods, go figure. I find I'm being selective about what I do eat because I know that whatever I eat will fill me up so I want to make it count. Sugar is a problem for me as is too much fat. Then again, they were problems for me pre-op. Back then I just ignored it and got sick if it came to that. Now, for some reason it's different. I guess I'm just taking better care of my tummy than I used to. Good things...my tummy no longer rubs on the steering wheel. In fact there are several inches of space! My clothes are so much looser, and I'm almost into a size 24 from a tight 28! That feels REALLY good! I saw pictures from Easter Sunday (2 weeks after my surgery) and I could actually see a difference, especially in my face. Bottom line...I thank God for my PCP who suggested I look into WLS, I thank Him for guiding me to Dr. R. and to this list. I thank Him for my loving, supportive husband who has been with me every step of the way, even when it meant him jumping through hoops at work to make it happen. Life is looking brighter every day! Can't wait to hear from you as a post op!!!! {{HUGS}} Claire Redhead in FL MGB 4/10/00 Dr. Rutledge (http:/clos.net) " He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.
