Guest guest
Hi...............Thank you for your welcome, and information links. I am just beginning the process of tying together all of my unrelated health issues with these implants. I feel like I'm up against a brick wall, and I am so glad to have a site like yours. I have also joined the breastimplantsupportforum. I am glad that you are respectful of Christians, as I am a believer of Jesus Christ. I also am totally supportive of natural health. This is why I would like my implants out. My husband and I have experienced great financial hardship in the past 10 years. We are in our 50's now with an 11 year old daughter. All of our retirement savings are gone, and we live on minimum wage. Our families have turned their backs on us because of this, and we have nowhere to turn for any kind of financial support for explant surgery. We can't qualify for a loan, as we had to declare bankruptcy 4 years ago. I pray everyday that God will maintain my health, because I will probably have these implants in years more. It has already been 9 years. Maybe you can help me with this, but why is there no compassionate fund for women in my predicament? Are we just a shunned, forgotten group? I see fundraisers happening all over the place for everything, why is there nothing for women who are literally dying, with these implants in them? What is someone like me to do? Having to go through this, I really want to reach out and find a way to raise money so other women don't have to wait for explant surgery, with a bomb inside of them waiting to go off. Any support and information you could give me would be really appreciated. Please excuse me, if I have a difficult time navigating the website, etc., as I am not really well trained when it comes to technology. Also, if you could help link me to other members in Ontario, Canada, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for all that you are doing. God bless you. Guest guest
Hi , What kinds of health issues are you dealing with? I can probably guess and be 100% right! There are just so many when it comes to these implants. I am thrilled to hear you are a sister in Christ...Jesus is a friend like no other, a Savior who loves us so deeply. Natural health is the way to go! It saved me along with my faith leading the way. I'm sorry to hear of your financial hardships...my goodness. It's so sad, and no one is exempt from falling behind or losing their financial security in these hard times. I'm sorry your family has not been there to support you. They should be, but more than that, your friends through church should be there for you as well. As for the fundraising and support for women in this breast implant issue, we've had many, many questions about how that would work. In fact, Ilena Rosenthal has a foundation started for this purpose, called the Humantics Foundation. You can see it, and read about her journey to help women here: http://www.humanticsfoundation.com/ There are many problems associated with telling the truth about breast implants to the world, not the least of which is the battle raging from the side of the manufacturer's and plastic surgeons against us, because they stand to lose millions of dollars. They have fought viciously...and in the process took away much needed energy and funds that would have gone to help women. There have been many attempts to tell the truth regardless. Here is a site that has a documentary to share: http://www.absolutelysafe.com/ There is Dr. Kolb's efforts to tell the world as well...she had implants and got sick from them herself, so as a plastic surgeon, she is in an excellent position to testify to the truth. But, as with any vicious attack, it starts with attacking credibility. But she marches on. http://www.freewebs.com/implants/ Finding one another through the internet has been our miracle...we've been able to make much more progress through this fast and far reaching communication tool. You will probably have the best luck looking for women in your area right through the Internet. We do not have specific groups for specific locations, so stay in touch, and keep looking and you will start finding all the people God is placing in your life to help you.
