Guest guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Tami, No water is needed. As you said, place filled jars without jar lid in machine, place machine lid on and turn it on. The numbers on the front are a reminder of when you started the machine so place the little marker on the lid above your starting time. Condensation that forms on lid of machine may drip onto counter but not a lot. Did you get the extra set of jars? I found them very useful bc you can make another batch right after without having to wait until the jars are empty or move them to another jar.... We eat and use a lot of yogurt.
