Guest guest
My son has been SCD for almost 9 months. He went from 8-10 very loose BM's per day to 2-3 normal soft in 1 month. We began using digest enzymes 2 months ago and used them for 1 month until I found out they were not SCD legal due to the Bifus in it. So we switched to Digest Gold and have been on it ofr 1 month. The dosage of the enzymes is larger and a few extra enzymes are in it that were not in the digest. Since we started Digest gold, Caden has begun to have pieces of undigested food in his BM again. Not as bad as before SCD and he is still have a BM 2-3 times per day. Could the Digest Gold be the cause???? I wouldn't think so but nothing else has changed in his diet. Or could this be a symptom that his yeast in on the rise again??? We also take 1 Candidase at bedtime. Should we start the Garlic again or try somthing else for the yeast if that is the problem?? Thank in advance for any insite into our problem! (trying to convince myself to go SCD :-) becasue of GI issues and yeast) mother of Caden 2.5 years, SCD since 2-05 for severe intestinal yeast and Emmalynn SCD except for breast milk and formula

So the undigested food in the stools has been higher for 1 month straight? I have a few questions, if you please: Is the stool more looser or changed in consistency at all? Did you see any other changes besides the food pieces when you started Digest Gold? And are you opening capsules or having him swallow the caps? Thanks, .
