Guest guest
Hello to all! After bragging about three good days in a row that's what I get. At 2am Thursday a trip to the er for severe pain in left flank, back, and upper abdomen. I had already taken a percocet, 2 demoral, and a phenergan with no relief. The er gave me morphine injection, which I hate, but it did help. Within a half hour the pain came back! I don't understand how it can hurt with all those meds in me!?! Anyway, they gave me a little more morphine and when it settled down again they let me go home. Don't think I got enough IV fluids this time, but it beats staying in the hospital! I slept all day Friday literally. I didn't get up until 9pm!! Boy was that a good rest!! Woke today with mild pain and nausea so trying to do liquids only to avoid another trip. Well that's all that's happening with me right now. Thanks again for listening. I have no one else to talk to about this and it feels good just to let it out! Hugs to all, Elicia

Guest guest
Thanks Laurie for the post. Yes, I am pretty exhausted that is for sure. I had a MRI of the cervical verterbrae Tuesday and that wiped me out too. I had trouble keeping my legs from moving because of the faciculations and the tech kept yelling at me to stay still. I finally told her that I was unable to stop the movements due to a Neuro-Muscular Disease and her reply was that she " would note it in the report that I was unable to stay still and if we have to repeat the test than she can show them it was because of my noncompliance " . Boy was I p****d!!! When I saw my Neuro at the hospital for I told him what happened with the MRI and he jokingly told me that " I should have told them that if they wanted me to be totally still then they should have tied me down with some rope " LOL!!! He cracks me up! Thanks again for always being there :-) > > > I'm glad is doing better. I'm sorry that you both had to go through > this. It had to have been scary.
