Hi Guys:

My packet left my grubby paws this morning and is headed to Dr. Rutledge. I

spoke with

Debbie. She had asked me to let her know when I got my insurance approval. She

said there

are still dates available in May just in case any of the rest of you are getting

your packets

ready to mail out. It is a good idea to make sure Debbie gets a copy of your

insurance

approval since as I've found out, fax is not the most reliable form of

communication. You

might also want to call her when you receive it.

I'll call Monday or Tuesday to get my date. As soon as I get my date, maybe

those of us

who will be in the hospital at the same time could make a sign MGB and put it

outside the

door of our rooms at the hospital so we can find each other.(well anyway, those

of us who

want to find each other).

Or maybe we could develop some kind of distinct burp that we could do in the

hallway that

would be like a gathering call to all sisters and brothers of MGB. Nah. Let's

just do the sign.

Congratulations, Flo, I'm very excited for you. I have been reading

the MGB list since December waiting for the planets in my world to

align themselves and it has been not that long ago that we had a big

discussion about putting bows on the door of our hospital room

signifying **MGB patient** for all to see. There was a vote on what

color to use -- not sure of the outcome but believe rainbow won

(Steve tallied the votes). A woman who had been in the floral

business offered ribbon (I think she said she would leave it with

Debbie).

I'm feeling like the list historian .

I just had my first full-fledged gout episode this week and there is

no doubt in my mind that MGB will be a breeze compared to it.
